NEW MY IT SUPPORT APP PROVIDES ON-THE-GO ITS INFO
As of Nov. 20, employees and business partners with a CHI email account have on-the-go access from their mobile devices to submit IT help tickets, check ticket status, get information about planned and unplanned outages, and more—anytime, anywhere.
The new My IT Support mobile app complements the My IT Support portal and the OneCare app. The new app can be downloaded from the Apple store for Apple iOS devices, and from the Google Play store for Android devices (search for servicenow).
To help you get started using the My IT Support mobile app, a short presentation and a job aid are available on the ITS Managed Services Transition page on InsideCHI. It should take you just 15 minutes or so to get familiar with them.
Using the My IT Support mobile app requires a brief, one-time registration. If you’ve already registered for the My IT Support portal/ServiceNow, you’re good to go and don’t need to register again. For step-by-step registration instructions, see the Log in and Register for My IT Support job aid.
If you need help using the new app, please contact the ITS Service Desk via Live Chat or 866-236-0441.
IT SERVICE DELIVERY TEAM DRIVES NEW CLINICAL APPLICATIONS ROADMAP
To help leaders track clinical and revenue cycle projects, as well as “keep the lights on” activities that have been funded for the fiscal year, the IT service delivery team is sharing a new roadmap tool that illustrates projects and their timelines.
Monthly IT business review calls will keep market and national office stakeholders up to date on performance and progress. After each call, the stakeholders will receive an additional tool to share with their teams – an infographic that visually represents roadmap accomplishments and next steps. “It’s a way for us to share what’s been approved for IT to implement and support, where we are with those projects and where we’re going next,” said Adrienne McDowell, associate vice president of core clinical platforms. “Our goal is to provide market leaders with a simple visual tool they can share with their teams and to increase transparency.”
