Appointment of a new CEO.

Mike Betts steps down as Matthew Hamilton-James becomes Interim CEO.

You might have seen our recent announcement of the appointment of Andrew Miller as the new Chief Executive Officer of Motability Operations Group plc. Andrew Miller's joining date will be determined in due course and we look forward to welcoming him to the business.

Andrew is currently a partner at Terra Firma LLP and was previously Chief Executive Officer at Guardian Media Group and before that, Chief Financial Officer at Autotrader. In addition, his experience covers strategic, operational and finance roles at a number of major international companies including PepsiCo, Bass and Proctor & Gamble.

Mike Betts has now stood down as CEO of Motability Operations, after 18 years with the business and as of 1 April 2020, Matthew Hamilton-James (the previous Finance Director pictured above) has taken over as the new Interim CEO until Andrew Miller joins the company. In addition, Gareth Everson (previously Head of Financial Control) has become the new Interim Finance Director, covering the position while Matthew is Interim CEO.
